Community Builders is Now CB Construction

Community Builders has stood for something rare in the construction industry: a firm built on trust, relationships, and a genuine commitment to improving the places where people live, work, learn, and gather. Our name reflected that. It still does.

But over time, something else became increasingly clear: Clients weren’t hiring us only because we were the “good guys.” They were hiring us because we deliver at a level that rivals the best construction management firms anywhere.

They were hiring us for:

  • Complex, high-stakes preconstruction work
  • Sophisticated budgeting and value-engineering
  • Speed, clarity, and judgment under pressure
  • A level of stewardship and professionalism that goes beyond a niche

And as our portfolio expanded (senior living, commercial, cultural, health & wellness, sports and recreation) it became obvious that our original name, while heartfelt, was also too literal and narrow.
It suggested we were a civic or non-profit specialist. It suggested a subset of what we actually do. It didn’t fully capture who we’ve become.

So today, we’re proud to share an evolution:

The “CB” still stands for Community Builders. That will always be our DNA. But CB Construction reflects the breadth, the capability, and the standard of excellence we bring to every project.

This rebrand is not a departure from our values. It’s an expansion of our identity.
